I am here at NOAC, the National Order of the Arrow Conference out in beautiful Ames, Iowa. I realized recently that iH ave not been posting so I decided to start up again. I am in the process of organizing and assembling a NOAC journal, so once my trip is through, I will post it.

Anime Asplode

I am watching two amazing series currently: Excel Saga and Sensei no Ojikan. These are hilarious and worth watching. I got the Excel Saga boxset yesterday, on the cheap of course, and have been watching it ever since. A friend gave me the first 6 episodes of Sensei no Ojikan, a school related comedy, but sadly I have had no time to watch it. Also on the way are three fansubbed series, Midori no Hibi, Nanaka 6/17 and The Ugly and Beautiful World.

Brush your teeth

I jsut got back from the dentist and had 2 cavities filled. It took 5 shots of Novacaine to numb my lower left jaw, now the muscles are in spasms and hurt like hell. This caused me to teach a lesson: take care of your teeth. They have to last a lifetime and gettign cavities will not help you in anyway. So, brush and floss and do not end up like me.

The events of Friday are sealed, they occured and the necessary resolutions were made. But those apologies were no easy task to state. I knew I was wrong, but it takes a strong man to face an verbally crude angry boyfriend and respond without using vulgar language or insulting the person. I was able to vanquish the beast that was Mark The Angry, and walk away a better adjusted person.

On Friday, I acted inappropriately at a party I attended. Now my actions have warranted the loss of respect from a friend who I wronged. My actions will soon face a response from my friend's boyfriend. I should hold no fear and take responsibility for my actions, which I will. I apologized, it was azzepted, terms were laid down, and I will follow them until, and if, they are lifted. Damn, i screwed up.

Today my brother, Dad and myself are going to start to paint the house to suprise my mom. I think it is a great idea. Also, I cried last night while watching Full Moon wo Sagashite when Mitsuki found out that Eichi-kun, the person for whom she was singing, was killed right after he left for America. Mistuki desperately wanted to tell him that she loved him, but could not say it when was leaving.

After 2 weeks of waiting, my copy of Full Moon wo Sagashite came in today. All 52 episodes on fansub from a friend I mande at NLS. Also, I am getting ready to submit my Eagle Scout application, wo wish me luck!

Exams done, Summer Fun

Well, I stand here, on the cusp of another hot summer. With 7 exams and sophomore year done, I am ready to kick back and make some money this summer. I am also going to a conference, boy scout camp and possibly Chicago.

I am going to be honest, I prefer buying fansubs over domestically released anime. It is just cheaper. I will post my Exam grades so all can know how I did!

Kania was not that bad, even though I disagree with his views. My Latin and Biology exams went great. I am glad I studied. Today I took my Geometry exam and English is coming up. Anyway, my last day of school is Wednesday, I'm off on Tuesday so time is running out.

Science down, Religion to go

My Science exam could have been done blindfolded, it was that easy. Maybe that is due to the fact I didn't try or maybe I actually knew my stuff. I am about to take on Kania, in my "Heresy 101 Exam". This man is a total contradiction to what it means to be a religion teacher. Ask him about the Assumption of Mary, he'll go against the Dogma of Papal Infallibility, he says Mary was not assumed body and soul, sorry "spirit body composite". I hate this class.

Exams Suck

I created this to track me and my trip through life. This trip starts with Sophomore Exams in High School. I am exempt from History, but everything is an open question. I hate French and Math, I have no real dislike for Religion, Latin, English or Science. But hey, you cannot like them all.
